Great library in a great location in the city center. The opening hours are wrong though; the library is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:00 to 22:00.

This is a university library that is sometimes open to the public. Without a student card, you can't print or take books out (but if you catch it at the right time and look like a student you can use their restrooms). I've studied here with friends and have attended graduations here. It's a nice spot if you're respectful to the students and know a little Dutch.

I traveled in the rain for 30 minutes only to be greeted by a security guard and an employee of the library, who told me it was closed to the public and quite literally told me to get lost. I waited outside for a minute or two, staying dry, and watching many, many non students enter the building with no problems. after speaking with some l, they reassured me the library was open to public until 6.
I went back inside and again, two workers were very obviously lying about it not being open to the public. when confronted, they claimed I was not there to study and sheepishly waited until I left. sweet library guys!!! (hey if you're reading this, come to America, they don't descriminate at public libraries there)response / report this review
