As an Spaniard that lives in Amsterdam, I have been searching for a decent authentic Spanish tapas bar for 5 years and I think that finally I have found a great one. Located in the heart of De pijp, you can taste many delicatessen of the Catalan cuisine. Warning, it is just Catalan cuisine, so don't expect calamari or paellabut try the "torradas" the "homemade croquetas" and for sure the delicious "crema catalana". All delicious and the owners are lovely and very efficient! And heyif you visit it during the seasonyou can even have a whole Calcotada! (see picture attached)

Best Tapas! Amazing food & good wine! Definitely recommend to any friends visiting Amsterdam. Lovely spot. Perfection takes time so the food did take a little bit, only two men running the place but so worth it!

Very authentic catalan tapas bar run by two great guys from Barcelona.
Most produce imported directly from Barcelona. Small place but a great place
To sit, eat, drink and talk with friends.
House red is fantastic.

Great tapas! I ordered the patatas bravas, catfish (I think?) gratin, and sangria. The restaurant is very cozy and the owners are very nice

All round fantastic experience. Owners were so friendly and great with food suggestions. Best Patatas bravas I've had so far in Amsterdam. The pork tenderloin was really juicy and tasty. Wine was good too and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. Definitely a winner.

As a born and raised Barcelonian I can say this is the only spot that feels like Barcelona, trully. From the brands they have to the ambiance and the way the owners treat you and make you feel (you'll feel as friends by the end of the meal) this is a true piece of Catalunya in the Netherlands.

I had an amazing catalan foody experience there. The dishes are fabulous! You can feel as you are in Barcelona.

The prices are very good for being in Amsterdan and the staff is very kind and catalán!

Great place to have a good time with amazing Catalan wines, beers and food. The price is not expensive and they bring everything from Catalonia. It's pretty and the owners are so kind and friendly. Warm environment. More than recommended!
