We have used the TESO ferry in order to go to Texel a couple of times; one star less for the fact that it is a little bit complicated to buy tickets when you are starting from Texel going to Den Helder and if you are going by feet

The ferries are impressive, the personal and people around a friendly and helpful, rest rooms are almost clean and during the short trip you can have a meal or have your kids playing at the "playground" in the middle of the passengers decks.

Prices are ok as far as I can judge them

What is there to say? You have to come here if you want to go to Texel. Not a bad or nasty place, just efficient transport.

The only way to get to Texel, but it is still quite a good. It has a nice restaurant and shop if you feel you can't stay put for 25 min. Also there is a lot od space on deck if you want to see the gulls and the sea. It comes quire often too, so you don't have to worry if you miss one.

The ferry to Texel Island is big, uncrowded, and has plenty of amenity for what ends up being a very short ride. I definitely appreciated finding places to charge devices that were away from the traffic flow.

Expensive but available service. With the automatic read of the license plate it was fast to embark. Unfortunately long queues at the back trip, but well organized

Nice and fequent service to Texel. Good transfer from NS-railway station by bus. Fare for a car is expensive, pedestrian and cyclist cheap. So take the train to Den Helder. Every 30 minutes from Amsterdam (75 minute trip).
Tip (wintertime): excellent green pea-soup in the mess. Order directly, it's a short trip.
