Wonderful boat trips
13 Euros and you get a 2 hours lovely tour around the city. The captain gave a full explanation of the different spots while he was navigating. .. but only in Dutch which is a shame because he was really enthusiastic. An audioguide in English would have been appreciated. Except for that I really spent a good time on board !
Although it is nice to see the old canals and go through the waterlifts, the dinner options have not been updated since grandmother's age, although there is the deep fried snack alternative. And on the deck be aware of engine smoke and the lack of a smoking free area.
Would recommend almost any other place for lunch. And just go see the city from the bridges and the landscape by bike.
Great boat tour with the option to stop off for the tour of the caves.
It is a very good way to see the city and spend some time in the river. The barges are fo top quality.
Best way to explore the city.
Frequent departures, beautiful cruise, refreshment available on board. Good choices of tours did the st Pietersberg cave cruise which was great.flexible pick up time after the caves tour allowed for time to explore the area which was spectacular
Beautiful!
Maastricht is a beautiful city and going about for a tour on a boat is a way to enjoy it
NEVER AGAIN A BOOT TRIP WITH STIPHOUT!!!
Unless you are looking for a disability unfriendly company
Last month I made a boat trip with my severely handicapped grandparents and they refused to help my grand-father (walking on two crutches with an ID proofing that he has a walking disability of 90%) and my grandmother (sitting in a wheelchair) to enter the boat!! INCREDIBLE!!!
BTW also, my complaint-email, that I sent one month ago, was never answered. It seems that they care as much about customer service, as about handicapped people.
