Interesting tour of the caves with nice artwork on the walls and informative guide explaining their history.
The guide only spoke dutch during our tour but it is still worth a visit, it was also good value for money as the tour ends with free entrance to the castle ruins.
Entry to the velvet cave is €12 per person, if you visit the castle ruins first it would be an additional €12.

Interesting guided visit of the caves which ends in the ruins of the castle. Gives some insight on the history of the area.

Visited during Christmas market. It doesn't seems like a cave at all. They had some artists paint a few walls, nice but it's still not a cave. Way too expensive to enter vs what you get. There's a bar inside where who basically sit on sand.

Tourist trap. If you're expecting the Christmas markets like those in Germany to be here in a cave, you are absolutely wrong. Had a extremely boring time. A complete waste of €7. Just filled w shops selling stuff and there was no food with the exception of a cafe that didnt look like much.

Not sure why this was so highly recommended. But everything here is a tourist trap, paying for every entrance. Disappointing. The velvet cave is just a walk through of random shops, not sure why they even call it a Christmas market And still wondering why it's called the velvet cave.

Nice experience in combination with the ruïns. A very enthosiastic guide with a sense of humor. A must see.
