The best North Indian restaurant in Amsterdam. I have tried many, and this is easily the best North Indian restaurant. I, myself, am Indian, and the butter chicken here is even better than some of my favourite restaurants back home!
Also, the ambience is nice. However, it does take time for the food to come. When it does, it’s worth the wait!
Good hospitality and affordable prices. Rogan josh and seekh kebab were tasty. Butter chicken could have been better. Also the basket nan had less butter and garlic nan wasn’t tasty. Overall good eatery place. Mango lassi was tasty.
Best Nepali and Indian kitchen
We went there late on Sunday, we are happy with their friendly hospitality. We tried Tourist Menu, it was very authentic and delicious!! The friendly environment Restaurant is very recommendable!!
Wouldn't eat this food even for free.
I ordered Garlic Naan, Shahi Paneer and Rice. They sent garlic paratha, that too, undercooked and without telling me that they changed my order all by themselves.
And then they have the audacity to tell me that it's the same thing, just made on tawa.
Anyone who knows anything about Indian food, would never call it Naan, see pics. And this guy kept arguing that it was naan.
What they sent was not even close to naan. And they didn't even accept their mistake, just kept arguing.
The shahi paneer was sub par too, the paneer being very dry and hard, and the gravy was ok.
The only good thing was the packaging and the rice, hence the 2 stars.
*Cash Only!* - We went there on a Saturday night and we absolutely loved the food, delicious butter chicken, lamb curry and naan bread. Even ordered a pitcher of „Indian Sunrise“ which was great - the negative surprise in the end was we had to pay with cash - which is quite uncommon these days, but other than that everything was great.
