A nice shop with various products. I have been to many Douglas shops in the Netherlands and personnel was always amazing and very helpful. Today I had a really bad experience at Rotterdam store (Lijnbaan). Cashier Isabella was extremely rude just because (I assume) I spoke English. She couldn’t explain me in a right manner what is a letter of my post code but I’m pretty sure she did that on purpose just to make me mad. I told her, calm down and explain me slowly I am your customer. Then, she began even more rude and when I asked Isabelle “why do you have to be so rude” she just stared at me and said nothing. Thanks to the manager Pauline the situation was solved. But even here Isabelle showed her best and loudly shouted to the manager “she speaks English” in a very rude manner. I can be a refugee, I can be a tourist, I can be a student who just came to the Netherlands, I can be anyone. I never met such behavior here. It’s unacceptable , you have to stay human. Especially nowadays being human is important.
Very passive sales ladies 🥺 . Their prices slightly higher compared to debijenkorf ( no affiliation) discovered later.
They both have website so compare the prices. It’s such a large store with wide collection of makeup and skin care brands.
Please, please work on your service
Bought my make-up and skincare products with a bit of a discount, plus some extra samples 😉 That's always nice. Checkout process also fast and effective.
Very nice customer service!
Service with a big smile, Varisha
