It was a nice and cozy restaurant. Really recommended. Dear nice people. Small in scale but was nice and cozy. We got a real living room feeling here

Gastvrije en gezellige eigenaren, ongedwongen sfeer, strategisch gelegen restaurant met goede parkeermogelijkheden, uitgebreide keuzemogelijkheden qua ingrediënten voor je tafelbarbecue, kortom: een perfecte locatie voor een super geslaagd avondje uit!

After an afternoon of Apenheul my friend and I have been looking for a place to eat. Via Google Maps we ended up in the small spot 'Zetten'. The WordArt on the website informed us that the restaurant would be local, but you know what they often say about these types of pointers; these kinds of places often have very good food. We were greeted by Gerrit and his partner and they helped us a lot. There is an unlimited BBQ buffet, but we opted for à la carte. I had the chicken satay skewer and my friend the spare ribs. Both types of meat were extremely tender and tastefully prepared. And while I don't like spareribs, I think these are the best I've had so far. Also the fries were fresh; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portions are quite large, but nothing excessive. There is a good quality-price ratio, when we ate there €19 for the spare ribs and €16 for my chicken satay. I highly recommend eating here!

It was my first time in t'Vuurspor Barbecue and I left it with mixed feelings. I absolutely love the idea of the place - all-you-can-eat barbecue tables where you can choose from variety of meats, fish and veggies, cozy bar with many beverages to choose from, pretty nice location on the side of the Zetten train station - I can easily say I came here with high hopes for a fine casual Saturday meal.
My first impression - to go into the restaurant we needed to walk in through a - what it looks like - staff corridor (not very welcoming), after we were seated we didn't receive any kind of menu and instead we were informed that one person can go get the food from a different room (understandable that it's due to Corona).
There is no drinks menu, after being informed that they have almost everything we asked for 2 pretty common beverages that unfortunately they didn't have.
Decor could use a bit of refresh - you can clearly see that the restaurant room was not updated for at least few years.
Food was okay, not too many things to choose from, also not something I would pay 25 € for.
I had an impression that it's a family restaurant and I could see that they really are doing their best to make everyone feel welcome, however I do think that there is a lot of room for improvement.
Overall I don't think I will be coming back, which is a pity because I really thought it could be a great place to chill with friends and family.
Leaving 3 stars for the great restaurant idea and the not so bad food.response / report this review -
