Beautiful historic sight with a lot of history. It's a great learning opportunity to know more about the history of the Netherlands.

Climb the belfry of new church if you are slim. Those are incredibly narrow stairs to the top. But the view was awesome.

Amazing church with stained glass and royal tombs. A combo ticket for this church which includes a climb to the tower and the "old church" costs 8 euro. A separate entry fee for the church only is available. At the time of this writing there was some construction in the main sanctuary. The climb up to the tower is narrow. For those who are on the taller side, be sure not to bump your head on a few beams.

Make sure you climb to the top of the tower! If you are scared of heights or confined spaces - don't attempt to climb because you'll just annoy everyone else :) the belfry stairwell can accomodate one person going up and down so stick your side and don't stop otherwise you hold up everyone for no reason. The views at the top are amazing - from one direction you can see Rotterdam and in the other, The Hague!

The Nieuwe Kerk is a must visit place in Delft. The church was constructed in 1200s, and is hardly "new" in terms of age. But the interior and exterior are brilliant and well maintained. There is a peaceful atmosphere inside the church, with beautiful paintings and stained glass art adorning the interior. The center of attraction is the church tower. The tower is open to visitors on dry and sunny days. It takes about 10 mins to climb to the top, but the climb is worth it when one witnesses the view from the top. Probably one of the tallest structures in Delft, the tower boasts a 360 degree view of the entire city. Too bad I'm afraid of heights. The New church and the old church can be visited with a single ticket. The tower has a separate ticket. Student discount is available.
