My daughter LOVED it here. She's 2.5. Its very detailed and intricately done. It was a great day visiting and is very stimulating for young kids. She just kept going and going, especially loved following the trains. Would definitely go again, and it's fun to go through even without kids.

It may be fun for kids, but also adults alike. Two movies/interactive to help learn about Dutch history and football culture. Spent around 2 hours here, playing some of the games and walking through. Good food too :)

A surreal experience depicting the daily life in miniature.. it's been done so meticulously well..with coordinated movement of the trains, trucks & cars.. bridges opening up for the ships to pass through.. people walking around.. It's so lively..truly magical! Especially the airport was awesome! Detailing is spectacular.. I wonder how they keep it so clean when in the open! We spent around 3 hours, but I really wish I had more time. I just loved the place!

This was one of our best experiences in Netherlands. There is a tram that runs to the stop. It is big and beautiful. Plan to spend a minimum of 4 hrs there because you can do everything. There are many shows but make sure you either stand in the line for English shows or the German show. There are activities and play areas for kids as well. There are restaurants and souvenir stalls. There are challenges that you can participate in. Use the map they give you on entry to ensure you see and do everything Madurodam has to offer.

We love this place and found it also very interesting, because it gives you a good in-view of Netherlands points of interest. Very nice and detailed miniature houses set in a small park. There is a lively atmosphere with lots of miniature trains, mills, ships, airplanes and cars moving around and turning.
The self service restaurant is not cheep but it offers fresh and tasty staff.
Come in autumn on a week day outside holliday periods like we did, and you will enjoy more this experience, because there are only few people around.

Would be really cool if it was less crowded! We came during the last week of summer vacation. So it's understandable, don't come during then lol. The food here was good, the story behind it was sad but very honorable.

Stunning minitown. All the Netherlands in one viewpoint. Can wander here for hours looking at all the buildings done in accurate and to scale representations. The trains and freeway and airport beautifully done. Waterways and shipping great. Nice curio shop and good casual restaurant.

A unique creation & a wonderful dedication to a military hero, a man of war. This place contains the mostly the whole of Netherlands on a small scale depicting the most important landmarks that make the country great. The detailing of all these miniature scaled landmarks are so accurate that you can take pictures and fool people around Truly a wonder!!!

Good place to bring kids for a round. I would say that is also quite interesting for adults as well. The weather has to be good as it's an open area (park) and it helps taking good pictures. Expensive entry fee.

This is a must see if you are visiting. The place is in very good condition inspite of the models being outdoors. It a great learning experience for kids as they have working models of canals, bridges, airports etc. There's also a play area for kids or siblings too small to appreciate the models. You could easily spend an entire day here. Great little souvenir shop too. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It is a good place to visit. Children enjoy the miniatures and the playgrounds available. Paid parking nearby. Now it has an interactive guides around the park also in English. Bring you own food there is plenty space to sit and eat.

If you are new to the Netherlands, that's a great place to visit. However, older models are done a bit better and the new ones are supposed to be for playing but most of them don't work. Nonetheless, it gives you a glimpse of what you can find in the Netherlands.

The Park is split between older scale model buildings which were excellent and more modern layouts with interactive exhibits. Virtually all inactive exhibits were not working or broken and it is only just the start of the busy tourist season. It gave the Park a feeling of being rather run down and lacking in investment.
Expensive for what we experienced.
I'd recommend the city centre and then go to the beach instead

Madurodam is well known mini park located in The Hague. This place is one of the best mini parks which I ever saw. It offers a variety of historic and current buildings in the Netherlands and you will have a lot of fun to explore all of it. Also, inside of the park, you can find little gift shop too.
