A big aquarium located at the beach. Quite expensive and more a tourist attraction. They make big promotion in scheveningen for it. Everybody can choose to support these kind of attractions where animals are held in pools or not.
It's like a mini aquarium with nice sea creatures and literally on the beach
Nice experience, well organized and clean, a bit small for the price. the otters were sleeping most of the time. feeding times I recommend to see they are a nice extra for the kids.
Most kids will like it. But the value for money is a bit off here. It is cramped, dark (of course), every inch is efficiently used. There are toilets, a restaurant and plenty different fish, none too exotic. If you enter the gift shop, there is no returning to the aquarium!
All in all, it's an aquarium but a bit overpriced.
Friendly staff plenty of hands on things for children good disabled access to all parts of the centre
45 € for 2 adults and 1 kid absolutely overpriced for something that takes less than an hour to end the visit, with a shop completely uninteresting. The only thing that saves it is that the kid had fun.
It's a good place for kids as there are plenty of things to do. Not great if it's very busy. Also if you have got tickets you still have to queue.
It is a wonderful place for all nature lovers! It's a perfect location by the sea and it is easily accessible by tram 1 or 9. The exposition is very nice, many varieties of under water animals, not only fish. The turtle is absolutely amazing! The only sad point was that I visited it in summer and penguins were a bit too warm to move out of their houses. In general, highly recommended.
Nice day out. A lot of beautiful sea creatures. It's was a good couple hours until we viewed the hole Sea Life experience. Fun and educational something for toddlers.
Small but well designed aquarium. Going through the different areas was amusing for our children. You can get cheaper ticket after 4 and have enough time to visit the whole place.
Very well done. Information well presented so that your children/grandchildren learn about sea life and the importance to be careful with this resource.
Good view of different animals, everything is in Dutch, German and English. It's kept clean quite well.
The amount of fishes and other animals is not really great, but amusing for a few hours. The entrance fee is a bit high, but considering that part of it is on supporting and saving animals, it's worth it.
This place is very nice! It has a big amount of sea animals and accommodates these in a very realistic and entertaining way. Also, the feeding sessions are enjoyable to attend. However, the place might be a bit crowded at some points due to its size. Overall, a nice 'zoo' to visit when in Scheveningen. (Tip: order your tickets online, this is quite a lot cheaper!)
The layout of this place is a large part of the appeal, a winding path through and underneath some amazing aquatic vistas. Very accessible for everyone including wheel chairs and strollers.
The whole tour should take about an hour to complete and photography is allowed without flash.
Staff his friendly and knowledgeable.
