Beautiful gardens 30 mins outside of Amsterdam. The crowds on even a Tuesday were significant but if you take the correct paths you can find pockets where you have the place to yourself. Despite the info on their website about midday being best time to avoid crowds, we found arriving early got us ahead of the bulk of the crowds.

Excellent spot, well managed. It's very popular among flower adventurers. Houses rich collection and magnetic essence of tulips.

The most beautiful tulip garden on the planet! Craftfully designed flower beds, landscapes include small hills, fountains, a lake, and lots of green forestry. Easy drive from Amsterdam, and plenty of paid parking is available. You definitely need the whole day to see the park entirely

I visited this place last year on around 10 May '19. Very beautiful place to go, although it was already close to summer, making some flowers were already withered; even the tulips field was already closed. But still, a worthy place to go.

Really beautiful place and major tourist attraction in Netherlands. Try and visit in the first week of May to get best pictures and views. Later in the month they start harvesting. Must visit without a doubt.

Marvellous place! The parking place is big and coordinated by the staff. There are options for lunch and a good coffee shop in front of lake where can ride in a gondola.
The flower fields and gardens are beautiful.
It is a obligatory place to go when you travel around there.

Only the best garden I have seen! Definitely want to come back. FYI, it is only open for 3 months in a year, only in Spring season. Good to visit for the whole day even, they have food plazas, shops and restrooms. Usually a crowded place, tourists from all over the world can be seen here. Maybe visiting at earlier times would have less people.

World's most beautiful spring garden. A parade of Tulips and other flowers. A bit crowded, very touristic place. You'll definitely enjoy the visit. Make sure you fully charged your smart phones for selfies and or you have a power bank with you..

This place was so beautiful. I went a few weeks before the peak blooming season. I was able to catch the bus from the Amsterdam Airport and enjoy the scenery along the way. Even if I didn't stop and rest anywhere, this place took the better part of five hours to walk through. There's so much to see and enjoy! The plants aren't you just beautiful but the landscaping is also thoughtful and beautiful for the off seasons. Additionally they make a point to plant not just tulips but other plant varieties so they bloom at different times.

    Would definitely go back!

This is a great place to go in the spring and especially if the sun is out. Tulip and flower gardens are very impressive, creative, and well maintained. You can easily spend hours without even realizing it. The bus from the airport is very convenient and you can get park tickets there as well. You should look into it when you arrive in Amsterdam at the airport. It is worth planning into your schedule for a unique Dutch experience.

If you are buying the ticket to the Gardens, expecting to see long stretch of beautiful Tulips, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEM.. the long stretch of tulips are outside the garden, in the farm and is FREE for visitors.. I felt the tulips farm was much more beautiful than the gardens..
But the gardens have varieties of tulips, and cool photo-worthy places. The beautiful lake (or pond) inside makes the garden even more beautiful

The garden is huge and beautiful but the best part was renting bikes and riding through the fields where they harvest the tulips. Just rows and rows of beautiful bright colors as far as the eye can see! It also allows you to see some of Amsterdam outside of the city which is full of lush green forests and charming picture perfect houses

Fantastic landscaped gardens covering 32 hectares. Not just Tulips - although that is most definitely the main focus - the gardens range from Japanese style woodland plots and modern and art influenced installations, to classic formal and park garden styles with a huge decorative lake in the middle. A great visit, but best to turn up early even late into the season.
