No ventilation working in the bathroom.
Breakfast : 2/5, no fruits, cheap juice, cheap coffe, oily omelett.
Having a long stay, they changed my room to an other one just above the bar (room 17 to 22) to give the quieter one to another customer. The music goes loud til 2/3 AM the weekend.
Very bad phonic insulation, I hear people in the other room and especially in the corridor.
Friendly staff
Nice small town hotel.
Excellent place, great staff as well!
A hotel that was there when needed, but heavily overpriced for what it's worth. (150€)
A small, unassuming family-run hotel in the centre of Ijmuiden, within easy reach of the superb beaches of Ijmuiden and Wijk-aan-Zee, the (20 min) hydrofoil to Amsterdam and the ferry to Newcastle (UK). Ellie and her sons provide eat-off-the-floor cleanliness, unbeatable value-for-money, and a warm, caring, yet discreet "family" atmosphere that even a five-star establishment would struggle to emulate. Highly recommended.
