It's further away from the city center than the original coach terminus in Amsterdam Amstel, but it still has interchange with the metro and Railway lines as well as a warm location for waiting coach passengers.

Very inconsistent service and coach quality, wifi and plugs don't work so why advise that you supply this service. rude staff and out dated ticking system.

We bought the tickets online and came 20 min early. There we heard we need to check in, no problem. We came to the only "check in" counter and we were 4th in line, so we tought it would be quick. Employee at the counter spoke for over 10 min with one young lady, while the line grew and grew And when she left, he called her again for another 3 min! We figured people were buying tickets at that counter and asked for information, although there were two more counters: one only for buing tickets, the other only for information. When we saw that the bus could shortly leave without us, we tried to ask at the information counter what would happen if we miss the bus, and is there another bus for our destination later that day.
The lady at the counter didn't listen to the question, talked over us, and didn't even look us in the eyes. I can understand if she was busy, but at that time she wasn't doing ANYTHING. She just refused to do her job, which was to give us information. When the mad bus driver came and told employee at the counter that he's leaving, empolyee called everyone who was going on that bus to come to the counter. The check in was quick then, although he wanted to be chatty, but we hurried him up, because the bus was leaving. We managed to get into the bus, and the bus left 15min after that, presumably after dealing with all the late check inns.

Very basic but it has everything you need. Staff are helpful too. It sounds logical but you have to get a train ticket to central (if that's where you're going) which can be a bit confusing if you don't know what you're doing. You're best off getting a single for the metro and getting a day travel card at centraal if you plan on using public transport.

If you are on budget tour, this place could be handy for you. There's a coffee vending machine inside. But the washroom is not so clean!

OK bus station but only a few vending machines and small waiting room. The bus going to London was old but the one coming back was really nice. Booking wasn't difficult, customer service was helpful and the check-in process was easy too.

Some of these reviews are ridiculous! What do you expect from a super cheap bus service? The ride was fine and not some sort of horror show like some people are saying. Just make sure you prepare for you journey, as in get some drinks and and some food and you will be totally fine.

It's cheap to travel with the company but the buses are rubbish. If you're a bit taller you will have the worse trip ever. No leg space, the bus from Amsterdam is not direct to London and it was difficult to breathe inside. No air circulating. The drivers could barely understand English. When we got to the border both English and French police stopped us and in a space of 100 meters we had to get out of the bus to be identified and checked.
The trip took 10 hours. Even if a bit more expensive, the train or the plane are the best choices.
