The perfect place to stay in Utrecht. Sleeping in a converted church with a roof window, having a drink at the bar, delicious super late breakfast or a rental bike to discover the city. All of that was possible at Bunk.

Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms and delightful decor. Heat, A/C, TV, hairdryer. Excellent for those traveling with minimal baggage. Nice fresh food. Opportunity to support the homeless via discarded clothing (if your suitcase is too full 😁) or $€. 👍🏻👍🏻

A bit of a mixed bag. My pod (a fancy bunk bed) was comfortable and well thought out with a useful locker under the beds to put my bags. The shared bathroom was also very nice. The location near to the main train station is also great.
The only downside was that I didn't get breakfast there because of bad service. I went down for breakfast and waited for more than 30 minutes to be served, durin which time I reminded the waitress that I hadn't been served. After this wait I had to leave because I had a meeting that morning. Thankfully I got a refund but I was still annoyed.
I'm not sure if I'd stay at the hostel again or not. The rooms were nice but my experience with the breakfast soured things a bit.response / report this review -

We went to stay at the BUNK Hotel for a weekend away. The location is great, since it is right in the city centre. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff super friendly. Our pod was clean, but very warm since the air circulation did not seem to be great. After asking staff about this, they gave us a fan to use for our entire stay, which was nice. We had a pod right above the restaurant/bar, which made it very noisy, but the staff also gave us earplugs for this, which was perfect.

Nice rooms, with everything you need. Small but sufficient. The old elements stand out magnificently against the original church parts. Beautiful setting.

Very cozy and cheap hotel in a cathedral.
Amazing breakfast and nice staff.
I had a good experience with room and pod as well. Everything very clean and well organized.

BUNK is a beautiful central hotel, ideal for a quick city break. Very central, very hip, the repurposed architecture, everything is great. The evening staff was very friendly and welcoming, while bringing our delicious delicious meals. The night was less great. BUNK's rooms are small (which we knew and is not the issue) but you can hear everything happening around you. All in all, would return for the food, not so much for the night's rest.

Such a friendly staff, great service and lovely fresh menu. Perfect terrace for lunch or dinner with a view of the canal.
