A very nice and curious place. It's a great experience to have a beer inside an old church, food is also good and the service is very nice and helpful.
It's not a cheap place but the prices are regular.
You can find a lot of different kind of beers and you should try the coffee varieties.response / report this review -

The place is really unique, you should check it out at least once.
I mostly come here to grab a beer or two, since they have a fairly big selection, but they also offer food on the side (Belgian fries being the most popular dish).
Service is not bad, they are friendly despite being always really busy and loud.
Because of the location it is often crowded, which makes it hard to talk due to the space being so wide.response / report this review -

Great ambience and extensive beer collection plus friendly staff who know what they are doing. Food is also really nice. Keep in mind it gets really busy and really, really loud.

Very cool setting. Food and drinks were good. They had a small little orchestra playing when we were there (~1 pm). It was a fun experience.

Wonderful atmosphere in unusual church surroundings. Friendly service and nice typical Dutch lunch and snack menu. The toasted cheese sandwich with brie and the mustard soup were delicious. Large generous portions. Service is quite slow.

A bar in a church is what they tell you before you visit this location. Always filled up with locals and visitors, and have a wide variety of local Utrecht beer and famous Belgian brews. Friendly service from staff who have become familiar to tourists. You will love it.

Should visit at least once when in Utrecht! Good beers in an unconventianal place, an old church with a very high ceiling with a bar in the middle. Best thing is the large choice of beers on and of draft.

This is the place to be if you like beer and wanna be in a wonderful place. Actually a renovated church from former times. The staff is really nice . The fries and food are really nice and yummy. And the beer variety is just too amazing. So many Belgian and Dutch beers

Loved it! Nice place to drink some fine Belgium beer with friends. Thought that we would never get table when I first got in at 19:30. But a half beer later they collect me from to bar. Food was good. Personnel was friendly. Drinking beer and eating in a old church. Beautiful concept.
