Lovely hotel, great location and friendly staff. The rooms are always very clean, and its nice to relax on the balcony. The pool was amazing if you're swimming for leisure. Had a faulty fridge when I first arrived but they replaced it within a few hours. The interior design was quite interesting too, very creative.
Only criticism is that they could could install aircon to make it more comfy and also provide a thinner blanket in the summertime as the duvet was really hot. There was also a little bit of mold in the bathroom ceiling so ventilation should be increased. But I would definitely come here again.response / report this review -

We stayed here for the first time and were surprised by the old luxury the hotel radiates. Sitting right at the beachfront, close to many good restaurants and beach clubs, the location is superb. The room was small but clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Bentley bar in the hotel has great cocktails and seating, but is a bit expensive.

Good Hotel, with great breakfast and fantastic location. The corridors are in teribble condition, but the rooms are ok. Bed fine, not to soft. Price a bit to high

It was my husband birthday and I wanted it to be very special and surprise him. I asked them to decorate the room with balloons 🎈 and arrange the cake 🎂 . They did it really well to surprise my husband. We had 2 beautiful days enjoying the beach and sauna, pool and massage.

Previously posh hotel with worn down cupboards and furniture. The interactive TV kept lagging, the remote was worn down and the directional stick would only work if you removed the plastic cover. The furniture was scratched and delapidated. One of the cupboard's door wouldn't close unless you pushed back the dress boy that is part of the cupboard and the other door had trouble opening. Whenever you got into bed, or moved when on the bed, one of the lights would go on since someone though it would be a good idea to place the light switch partly behind the mattress. The view is obstructed by a flag and the light on the balcony has no off-switch. Not a problem, since the curtains are very heavy - in fact so heavy that it's almost impossible to draw them perfectly close leaving the light on the balcony a bigger problemen than you'd think it would be.
Staff is very friendly and up to par. Champagne breakfast and good food sort of makes up for the lacklustre room.response / report this review -

Location is great, the pool are area and beach front rooms as well.
Very, very poor service level though and we had several issues during our stay. Young interns are placed everywhere without any supervision. It seems like the beach hotel does not get the attention so needed anymore since it is on the nomination for renovation.response / report this review -

When checking in at the hotel (in my tracksuit as I came from a long drive), the guy at the reception desk was talking to apparently a German speaking person, asking for rates. The lady that was helping us appeared to be a student who did not know the answer to our questions. We had to wait for almost 10 minutes before the gentleman finished his telephone conversation and came to help us out. Would it had been different if I had been wearing my Louis Vuitton bag ??

Excellent location for holidaymakers. Nice rooms. Lighting in the bathroom is very poor for shaving - face is not illuminated at all. Duvets instead of blankets were not comfortable for me even in the spring time In summer it will be very hot given lack of A/C.
