  Good location. Just beside Bussum rail station. It's not a luxury hotel, but if you are looking for a moderate accommodation around Hilversum area, Bastion Hotel is worth trying.

  Ideal for last-minute booking to visit Amsterdam. If you don't want to spend 300€+ somewhere in center for 1 night. You have access to train, bus. Free parking.

  Not impressed, sorry! Reception is smelly (filled with stale smoke as smoking room is adjacent). Ill designed, small bathroom (in order to wash your face or brush your teeth the floor gets wet). Ill insulated (could hear every guest in hallway). In our case, the chamber maid forgot to clean the toilet-therefore the bathroom and our room was very smelly! Ill designed head lamp (can't sit up to read as your head will hit lamp- and I'm short!).
  OK place to just sleep and leave- not cozy or welcoming in a warm kinda way.

  Halls haven't been renovated like the rooms and lobby and seem rough, but who picks a hotel for its hall.
