Kind staff in an otherwise uninspiring and mediocre hotel. Noisy, broken shower tap and dysfunctional heating. They have a monopoly position in Lelystad, so prices can be disproportionately high considering the standards. Only if you have to

Stayed here as part of a tour group during the last stop on our trip - Amsterdam. First off, this hotel isn’t really convenient to Amsterdam at all. It’s at least 45 minutes (30 miles) to the city center and while there is a rail line, it takes equally as long. The hotel itself is situated in downtown Lelystad, which is a planned community on “artificial land”. There’s a grocery store nearby as well as several bars and restaurants - though the town seemed pretty dead when we were around. The hotel itself is pretty nice, reasonably modern, and well-kept. The food was good (we ate breakfast and dinner there), and the service was friendly. There is some odd marketing (e.g. shower caps that say “don’t wear me out of the room”), but it’s not that bad — just quirky. All-in-all, it’s a pretty good hotel, just a not particularly convenient location.

Nice hotel, don't be put off by the outside the inside is clean and modern. I had a suite room 505 very nice spacious room with seating area and large flat screen tv. The room has its own balcony with a good view over the market. Tea and coffee making facilities too. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Tapas bar on the first floor is reasonably priced and the food is of high quality. I would definitely stay here again.

Ok for one night, fairly worn out, lame breakfast, staff not able to produce a proper invoice, no own parking - need to park in public garage next door
