It was a very clean environment, however I wish there were more varieties of animals.
Nice place to spend with the family
Great place, really clean.
Nice place for family
If you are an animal rights activist I would not recommend going. The conditions for the animals is not great, especially for the big cats BUT.. If you want to see animals up close this zoo is great. It seems like most of the animals there are rescues so that also goes in their favor. Seeing the tropical birds up close is really neat. I would go again.
I sorta liked it, I have mixed feelings towards it. Doubtlessly, it is a beautiful location, but when it comes to animals maintenance, it has a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully, the government invests a lot more on family-oriented recreation.
Wiii
Great place for kids an adults
They have a variety of species.
Great site but lack of condition to welcome tourists and also animals lack of it!
Only real zoo in Nic as far as I know. Good number of animals that will amuse kids. Limited dining options and street parking only
Cute little place, is not that big, perfect to hang a couple hours with your kids. Parking is limited but free. Entrance fee is about 3 dollars.
This is an awesome zoo. It's probably one of my favorite zoos that I've ever been to. It's a little small, but it has a lot of heart, and most animal areas give the animals a lot of room. It's a little confusing to navigate, but after exploring around, I think that I found most of the nooks and crannies of this awesome zoo. Don't get too close to the exhibits, because there are lots of places where wild animals can grab you if you're not careful.
Very nice place to relax and explore some of Nicaragua's unique species of animals.
