Nice, relaxed atmosphere! Very friendly staff, inviting chillout areas, healthy food (even for vegetarians and vegans). Perfect place for a day at the beach.

What a fantastic place! The owners have found a piece of paradise and are willing to share it. Cristian and Nora and their staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help out. The dip pool is fantastic and you can rent ocean gear if you want.
And then there is the food. Great food, excellent prices, and a beautiful atmosphere.
Check it out if you are ever in Salinas Grandes.

Remote deserted beach with the perfectly positioned Day Resort. They provide a shuttle from León, and everything you would want to spend a quiet or adventurous day at the beach. Attentive yet respectful staff. It's really easy to be happy here.

Beautiful facilities on a beautiful beach. A great place to spend a beach day when visiting Leon Nicaragua. Just ask your hotel/hostel to contact them and they will pick you up and drop you back off right at your hotel.

Idyllic beach without crowds. The owners of the Salinas Grandes are a very welcoming couple, they like to socialize with their customers and take great care of them. The place offers lots of amenities for a pleasant experience at the beach. Also a very romantic spot to admire the sunset, then the stars. They do surfing, kayaking, baby turtle release into the sea; pool, showers and bar / restaurant. Did I mention the camp fire and great local staff?

Fantastic beach location with all the amenities you could need provided for you. The views are spectacular with beach right at your feet, your never too far away from the bar to top up on a much needed drink there’s even a pool for added comfort.

The food is lovely, the atmosphere is even better.

The only thing that tops all of this is that the hosts/owners are fantastic people they will make sure you are well taken care of and have the best attitude ever. They have also picked some great staff to work alongside them that mirror their enthusiasm and superb hospitality.

Be sure not to miss on the sunset and the baby turtle release which happens at the same time.
