Solid Surf & Adventure is an exclusive and authentic experience of a lifetime. Staying in El Transit, you feel so far removed from the rest of the world with the most consistent break in the whole country, all to yourself. The staff is amazing and will go out of their way to accommodate you in any way, the meals were incredible – fresh, healthy and flavorful, and the drinks at the bar are just right day or night. Solid is also very kid and family friendly. We brought our 16 month old daughter and it was never a problem, she was able to explore the whole property and the staff even took her off of our hands a few times for some alone time. We are still in touch with the other guests who were there during our stay, and really felt like family by the time we left. We are already talking about planning to go back. If you are looking for an incredible experience full of adventure, relaxation and some of the best surf in the world, Solid is the place to be.

Incredible waves, delicious food prepared by local chefs, and epic volcano boarding are just some of the highlights of my trip to SOLID. Allison, Jhon, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful. There are waves for all levels of surfers and opportunities to get surf lessons/tips while looking at pictures taken from earlier that day. If you are looking for a tropical surf vacation with uncrowded waves, SOLID is a must! I cannot wait to go back!

I can't say enough good things about Solid Surf Adventure and their crew Best surf trip I've ever taken!!! Closest beach to airport in Managua, there are three great breaks within walking distance and a bunch of beach breaks right out front, 20 mins from a good big wave spot, and an hour away from a world class left point. Those are just the great surfing aspects. They also host yoga retreats, volunteer trips, and they can do all of the excursions you and your group want to go on. The food is amazing (3 meals per day) and the staff really take care of you. Like I said can't say enough good things about them and what they do - thanks for having us!!!

Solid Surf and Adventure is an awesome place to visit. They are located on a beautiful secluded beach with no commercial activity. The surfing spots and opportunities are plentiful; there are three great breaks within walking distance and if the wind isn't cooperating, they can drive you to a better spot. Allison and Jon run Solid, and they are extremely friendly and want you to have a great time and will do everything in their power to help you get the most of your week.

Our group surfed every day (we didn't need to travel with boards because Solid had them for us). We also climbed an active volcano (majestic view at sunset It's a must), we practiced yoga with their on site teacher up to twice a day. We went into Managua and Leon on separate nights to explore.

The food at Solid was first rate. Everything was fresh and local (organic is an unnecessary word in El Transito as everything is organic) and super tasty. They will work with you regarding allergies and preferences.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was great. Solid is pretty remote in location, so I was amazed at how comfortable I was during the trip. The entire grounds are spacious and you really feel at home on the compound. You can always see the water and sand from the property as they are on the beach. A nice touch were all the hammocks everywhere which were very inviting and relaxing in between surfing sets.

Solid has an on site surfing "pro" to help you advance passed your skill level. If necessary, they will put on flippers and follow you and give you one on one instruction. They will also have people ready to photograph your sets if you would like. Allison, Jon and Elijah are awesome surfers and are fun to go out with and watch.

Solid is a great place for couples and small groups. I could even see a large group booking a whole stay and having the entire place to themselves for the retreat. If you are a solo traveller Solid is awesome as it will help you meet others and get oriented. The owners will feel like old friends when you leave.

Great job Solid. Thanks for the awesome trip and for helping me with my surfing. I will be back.
