  I spend a great time in the school, warm people, nice place, fabulous food, GREAT TEACHER, mi maestro Fernando is really professional. I strongly recommend Nica Spanish.

  AVOID THIS SCHOOL!! Because this school has a fabulous website, I enrolled my family in the "school house" program and "Nic-Adventure" program. Upon arrival, we were shown our two tiny rooms (the only rooms there). They were filthy, windowless, and smelled like urine. When we asked for a bedsheet to cover up with, we were given a sheet with blood on it. The "private" bathroom was the one used by everyone there; it was disgusting, without any soap to even wash your hands. I have lived in the Third World, so am used to simple and humble accomodations, but even I couldn't stay there.
  
  The main focus of the proprietors of this school seemed to be getting our money, rather than teaching us Spanish. Though their website states that you can pay with PayPal, they insisted that we pay only with cash. Stupidly, I paid the whole amount on arrival. When our kids each missed a day due to illness (the inevitable Travelers' Diarrhea), they refused to credit the missed day. That is fine, I understand they have a business to run. However, we paid for 5 excursions and only received 3. They were too unorganized to actually schedule the other two excursions.
  
  There is no formal teaching method here. The grammar guide promised by the website is a PDF file that I had to beg for. When I opened it, I found the whole guide to be in Spanish - not a big help to someone who is trying to learn the language. The website also advertises an exam to determine what you've learned. That didn't happen either. The "teachers" they use appear to be just people off the street, not professional teachers. When I reviewed my son's notebook after several days of class, I found numerous mistakes (for example, la pelota = the sun). Huh?
  
  We finally realized that we were not learning anything at this school and switched to Spanish Ya. We loved this school and found it to be a HUGE improvement over Nica Spanish.

  este es un buen lugar para los extranjeros que desean aprender nuestro idioma, puesto contaran con un ambiente agradable y acorde con las necesidades/herramientas para aprender el idioma español
