  The perfect way to spend time in San Juan del Sur! I stayed at the Spanish Corner school for 3 weeks and afterwards I booked one week extra because I didn’t want to leave. The family is really nice and accommodating. I could not communicate with them very well in the beginning but they were still so kind. They always helped me with things I needed. Valeria, the mother, prepares very nice and healthy food. Christian, the father, is the Spanish teacher. He is a very kind and calm man. They have two young daughters who were eager to play with me all the time. The rooms are comfortable and private.
  I felt like a family friend instead of a student. It was my best experience in my travel through Nicaragua.

  Enjoyed all my classes with Christian! Started with 0 Spanish and improved fast after his lessons. The option to continue lessons through Skype is perfect for those who want to keep improving their Spanish without changing tutor. Totally recommended!

  I've visited Spanish Corner School 3 times and worked with Christian over many years. I've learned so much in my time here and was able to get to a level of Spanish Fluency I'd only learned of in the past. I'm writing this review in English instead of Spanish since you might not be checking out this school if you already spoke Spanish but I could write it in Spanish just as easily thanks to Christian. I loved staying with Christian and his family, the accommodations are lovely, the food is delicious and being around native Spanish speakers all the time is a very important part of gaining fluency quickly.I highly recommend it!

  I spent 2 months travelling Nicaragua last year and kept coming back to stay at this amazing school and family home. You could not find a better place to learn Spanish. Chris and all his family are so welcoming, a pleasure to stay with. The rooms are immaculately clean and are in the best location in San Juan xx Thank you all for such a beautiful experience :)
