  Horrendous place. This restaurant makes its money from scamming tourists, as witnesses today when they tried to charge us twice and then added an extra 'consumption charge'. When confronted, the staff were completely rude and quickly closed the restaurant rather than answer criticism. Wouldn't visit again if you paid me.

  Esta en una buena ubicación, pero necesita inversiòn en su infraestructura, tiene una entorno tradicional, meseros atentos, sus precios son accesibles, ofreciendo licores, cocteles, sopas, desayunos, área de parqueo, baños, duchas, hamacas, y mesas frente a la laguna.

  Tried to charge more then the cost. Food was too expensive for local cuisine. 12$ for food that was not tasty and upset the stomach. Service was not friendly, unlike most places in nicaragua, and we were the only two in there. The coffee was a hint of instant coffee with mostly water. Luckily the coffee was the least expensive thing. Please avoid this place

  Hoping for good local food we sat down at Montes Verde, when we read over the menu we we’re surprised at how expensive everything was. We decided to start with coffees and tacos, and it was absolutely disgusting! The coffee tasted like a bad mix of instant coffee and the tacos were just deep fried sticks with mystery stuffing covered in shredded cabbage and doused in ketchup. After tasting that we quickly chugged down the “coffee” and asked for the bill. The server tried to charge us more then what was stated on the menu and recommended a 15% tip. After adding it all up five times we finally came to an agreement on price. Honestly this was the worst place we have been to on our entire month long trip. If you have any respect for your body do not go here.
