  My trip to Nicaragua was one that I will never forget and Anry with Mas Adventures is one of the reasons why. My family of 8 and I booked two tours with Mas Adventures. This review will be a little lengthy just because I want you to be assured as to why you should choose Anry for your future adventures.
  
  The first tour was the City of Leon Tour where Anry met us at our hotel and we walked the streets of Leon to the Cathedral. He educated us on the beautiful murals in the city, teaching us about Nicaragua's rich history. From there we went to the Cathedral and even got to go to the rooftop to overlook Leon, a beautiful view. Anry was informational, professional, and extremely caring as he helped my 70-year-old aunt walk up and down the narrow cathedral staircase. After the tour, we sat in the plaza and just talked. I felt like Anthony Bourdain sitting in a new city, talking with a local who is passionate about his culture and all that his city has to offer. Anry is personable, and very friendly. It was a great way end to our day.
  
  The next day 6 of us booked the tour to hike up and sled down the Cerro Negro Volcano. We also combined it with Horseback riding to Asososca Lagoon. Anry picked us up at the hotel in the morning and stopped on the way to get us some snacks for the day, which included local fruit, cheeses, avocados, and tortillas. They were all delicious!
  We reached the foot of Cerro Negro and began the almost 45 minute walk up. Starting out the hike was not too bad, but after a while when I got tired Anry was there telling me to take it slow and in some parts even holding my hand to make sure I made it up. He went at my pace and we even stopped to let a big tour group go by. I was appreciative of this.
  
  I felt like the queen of the world when we reached the top! Be sure to take your cameras, because the view is something you do not want to miss! It is breath taking, and so beautiful that even my sisters cried. We took some pictures and suited up for the ride down. Anry taught us how to start and stop and let us do a practice run before taking the full stretch down. I was a little nervous but the ride down was well worth it and an experience I will never forget!!! Even with my very daring niece, Anry rode down half of the volcano with her, and let her ride down the rest of the way by herself while running alongside with her to make sure she could handle the board herself. We had an absolute blast!
  
  Again, we got back in the van and headed for our next Adventure. We arrived to a farm outside of Leon, where the owners greeted us with a homemade lunch. It was the best chicken I ate while in Nicaragua, fresh from the farm. After lunch, we mounted our horses and headed towards the lagoon. It was an easy ride with a beautiful view of Mombacho volcano on the way. As we reached the lagoon, Anry setup hammocks and we took a dip in the water. The ride back during sunset, and the light rain that hit us made us feel like we were real cowboys. It was an amazing experience.
  
  This day we hiked up a volcano, rode down a volcano, and ended the day swimming in an extinct volcano. What more could I ask for?
  
  My family and I loved Anry so much that we invited him to dinner with us, where he graciously accepted. Not only is he a fabulous tour guide, but also a beautiful person. He has a positivity about him that is infectious and an aura about him that makes you want to talk to him just a little bit longer. There are people you meet in life that can make you open your eyes and see the world in a different way. He did that for us without even knowing that he could. It was truly a pleasure. :)
  
  Whatever you want to plan on doing on your trip to Nicaragua, be sure to contact Anry. If you have any doubts on visiting Leon, don’t. I fell in love with the city! We plan to return to Nicaragua, and cannot wait until we reunite with our new friend to have MAS ADVENTURES!

  We had a great time volcano boarding with Mas Adventures! Fantastic staff and service, we were driven to the Volcano in a small group in the back of a big SUV. The tour guide stopped along the way to show us cool interesting aspects of Nicaraguan culture and life.
  
  Volcano boarding was a once in a lifetime experience, and it was great that we were able to go with a small group and a skilled instructor. They even had cold beers waiting for us at the end. All in all fantastic :)

  We booked Cerro Negro Volcano boarding with Anry from Mas Adventures and he was great from the beginning. We exchanged emails and he was always quick in replying. Payment was easily done through PayPal. We went on the afternoon noon at 2:00pm. He picked up us from Leon and drove us to Cerro Negro Volcano. Our family was the only one in the group. We had my parents, who are in their 60s and kids age 4 and 9. Along the way, Anry explained a lot about the plants and animals, as well as some of the history and current situation in Nicaragua. His English is perfect. He even stopped along the way to show our kids how to extract nectar from a plant. When we got to the base of the volcano, we had time to go to the restroom and get some refreshment. Once we started climbing, he help carried my mom's sliding board. He was always making sure that each of us was doing ok. When my sister couldn't carry her board any longer, Anry took her board as well. He was never rushing us and we took several stops during the 3 kms uneven path up. Along the way, we witnessed another group that was double our size and their guide took them through the wrong (dangerous) path and Anry had to help them come back to the correct path. Once on the top, he explained very well how to go down and make sure that each of us understood the instructions clearly. My mom was nervous about it and Anry rode down with her. They went down first and stopped 1/3 down to film each of us coming down and to make sure we were doing it safely. I rode down with my 9year old daughter and although we went fast, I was always in control of the speed. As we watched each person of our group come down, we also witnessed other groups doing it completely wrong and rolling down the volcano, losing control and bumping into each other because of lack of instruction.
  It was an amazing experience and Anry made it special. Now we can say we went Volcano boarding with the guy who invented it. Ask him and he would tell you how he came up with this idea.

  The owner Anry went with us as a guide for volcano boarding! Amazing! 1st of all the activity could not be guided any better. One participant fell badly, Anry provided 1st aid very well, even after everything was finished he treated the guy in our hostel. Multiple times thereafter he helped us with both climbing the volcano Telica all by ourselves and with arranging trips to very remote areas in Nicaragua. Everything as a service!!
