Delicious curries and beer. A bit pricey but good selection of Nicaraguan craft beer.

Great food and atmosphere, a nice escape from the sweaty Léon streets. The customer service was attentive but the waiter tried to overcharge us for water which almost soured the overall experience. I would still highly recommend Imbir Restaurant for the freshness and flavors as well as the delicious cocktails.

Nice atmosphere. Food was great and a nice change from all other Nicaraguan food. However, the extensive beer list was a bit misleading. They were out of greater than half of beers, but they don't tell you this until you order it.

It's actually the first place where I realised, when it comes to beer, Nicaragua has more to offer than just Toña and Victoria ;) Very nice staff and warm-hearted owners will make you feel at home. Will definitely come back as I loved their short yet delicious menu (pierogi were my favourite!) and a good taste in music (they do concerts too). Thanks!

Ambiance, flavor, and service all were top notch. While the food did take a while to come out during both of our visits, we were happy to wait for such uncommon dishes.

Service is terrible. Waited on food for over 30 minutes. Once it finally arrived the portions were tiny and not that great. They also didn’t have half of the items on the menu.

Amazing food. Great ambience. And the best beer selection in Leon, if not in all of Nicaragua! Highly recommended. And the owners are super friendly too

What a great experience to discover authentic Sri Lankan food in Nicaragua! I've been homesick for the Sri Lankan food of Mouna Farm on Oahu and of the country itself which I experienced last year. At Imbir the food is exquisite! Every bite transported me to that culture I've come to love. Plus the live Music! I had the pleasure and honor of sharing the stage with Musica_con_jamón! ¡Magnífico!

Best beer selection I saw anywhere in Nicaragua and the shrimp curry was fantastic! The owners are super friendly and they host some great live music shows! Definitely worth a visit.

Taste of food is good and it's different. Portion size is small, way too small compared to the price. Its not mentioned that its only about the experience and more like a tasting instead of filling our tummies we didnt feel understood by the owner when we explained, so that was a pity. I don't think we would go back.

The food was tasty, but they charged 1$ for usually complementary hot sauce.
Be aware of 10% extra service charge, despite it's not mentioned on the menue.

The food was actually very good, but it took more than an hour to get to our table. The rudeness of the staff who completely ignored us an then only threw dismissive remarks at us are more than enough to never go back there again.

First of all the Pierogis and fried cheese appetizer were awesome but the lentil with okra dish was way too small and boring and I didn't see or taste the okra at all. Most dishes here seem to be on the smaller side. Place is cute everybody was friendly but I didn't feel like it was worth the money that we paid.
