Best place we stayed at in Nicargua. The owner welcomed us in a very heartly manner. For a more than reasonable price we got a lovely, perfectly clean room and very well cooked dinner and breakfast prepared by his mum. You can order this at any time with any special requests. Planning day trips is very easy since the owner speaks perfect english and is connected to everyone in the local community. The guy made us feel like home – he even offered us to take a shower long after check out. We will be back for sure :)

Very friendly staff, room was cleaned on short notice and good price for the room compared to the area.
Breakfast was very cheap, very good and generous portions.
Favourite budget hotel in the area for sure.

Smoking is permitted inside the hotel. This is a lack of respect to those who do not smoke.

We stayed there for a week and had a absolutely no problems. They made us breakfast and dinner almost every night, whenever we asked. The food was amazing and they made us special Catemals, a speciality food. They have an avocado tree that we ate fresh avocados lots. The food never upset our weak american stomachs, they cared about us and were very helpful with anything we needed to know. The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the people were wonderful. Stay here the next time you're in Somoto.
