  We stayed at Finca del Sol for four nights and enjoyed every night. The bamboo casa we stayed in was very spacious for two people. A large bed and bunk beds in which we spread our things out on. The best part was the view of the sunset we had of Conception right in our doorstep. Sherri was very quick in answering emails back before our trip. Half of the time Sherri and her husband were gone so her friend Marta looked after the bnb. She was excellent in helping with everything we needed. I will say that if you are already looking into Ometepe you know that nature is all around. My wife actually got stung by a scorpion in our casa (they aren't poisonous on Ometepe if you are scared). Finca del Sol is a great option is you aren't wanting to stay in a hostel and want more of a hotel like experience.

  We stayed in the Cabana del Sol, very cosy cabin with great views of Conception volcano when it's clear. Cristiano and Sheri's lamb burgers were fantastic. Great place to spend a few days chilling on the quiet side of the island.

  Este es un precioso lugar, con tres cabañas tranquilos, y fantásticos desayunos. La zona de comedor tiene unas impresionantes vistas del volcán más grande. Los dos propietarios son encantadores y muy atentos.

  Incredible lodging in Ometepedid not disappoint. Traveled here with 3 girlfriends on vacation April 2015 and stayed in the Bamboo Lodge with a set of bunk beds and one queen size bed. From the moment we strolled up the path through the finca where goats were quietly grazingto our serene sunset view of the lake from our porch hammocks with a pleasant breeze to Cristiano's delectable breakfast.highly recommend Finca del Sol for your stay in Ometepe.
