Un Hostal agradable, Higiénico, los dueños muy atentos, accesible su precio, los mejores batidos de la región. Seguro, incluye un rico desayuno Américano. Lo recomiendo.

This is the singular most amazing thing in Matagalpa (I might be exaggerating) but probably not. You get a huge batido for 50 cordobas.. (that's less $2 American) and its delicious. I get the Cafe (coffee) batido always and it's amazing and I love it. I go weekly.

Delicious! Shakes are fresh and served in metal cups to keep them cool. The fruits are seasonal which means that flavors vary depending on when you visit. I love the jocote batido.

Great smoothies. Customer service varies depending on the person. Get a punch card if you'll be around a while. You can get multiple fruits. I get 3 fruits and it's 60 cords. Try the banana, peanut (mani), and cocoa in milk if you want something milk shake like. I usually ask for no sugar.

I've been twice and neither experience was amazing. I have a very serious peanut allergy and my first visit, I felt like I was having a small allergic reaction. Maybe traces of peanut got in my milkshake. Who knows, but my throat was feeling rather scratchy. I even told the employee I had an allergy. I couldn't finish my milkshake and had to go home to take medication. No fun at all. The second visit, I ended up standing at the counter for a good 7-10 minutes while no one asked me what I wanted. Everyone looked busy and I didn't want to bother. Apparently no one thought I needed help why else I just be standing at the counter? I understand that in Nicaragua, this can happen. However this place is also a hostel with travelers from all over. Some travelers don't know that this is what you're supposed to do.
