Access can be costly as they are some ways from the ferry. Once you've accepted this however, the experience is absolutely fantastic with fantastic sunset views of Conception Volcano, sunset swims, and hanging on the hammock if you so desire.
Due to holy week in Nicaragua, there was a hotel nearby that blasted music until the wee hours of the morning. Unable to sleep, joined the party, which was fun!
Activities in the area include Kayaking in the swamps (the 'lechuga' floating plants define the landscape and ecosystem here, truly magical), hiking Maderas and/or Conception, biking to a beach, sunset watching, birding, and checking out the Petroglyphs by the Maderas entrance.

Super Lage, sicher, sehr sauber und tolle Ausstattung mit free wifi und guter, einheimischer Küche. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die Tour zum Rio Istian per Kajak is sehr empfehlenswert. Man bekommt viel von der Flora und Fauna mit. Die Guides sind auch sehr nett.
