  Most Racist place in town!! If you are coming to visit Leon or Poneloya, avoid this places, this people are discriminating Nicaraguans and soon the law will be enforced against them. This place is owned by a foreign that feels superior just because of his skin color and this is disgusting. We as locals will not tolerate any discrimination act in any way. Bigfoot, get out of my country!!!

  Party hostel, music is as laud as in a club (seriously!) from 6pm to 1am. Staff is rude, they don't even allow you to leave your bag there for a couple of hours after check out (?). It's also over priced for what they offer, a basic double room is $28, whereas it's $16-$18 everywhere else. Ended up moving to Guardabarranco (just in front of Bigfoot) and it was good.

  Unfriendly stuff members and rude security. Expensive and very touristy. No Coffee or breakfast included. Beer.cigarets are soooo expensive and also the food at the Restaurant is bad And overprized. And if u smoke selfmade cigarets like we did u might get kicked out, because they dont know the between normal und cigarets and a joint If u still think of going to bigfoot hostel only pay per night Cause if they have Not enough space they try to find a reason to kick u out. Whitout refunding your money. Much more lovley cheaper traditional And authentic is the place just across the Street Called viavia!!!

  Bigfoot hostel is a big busy place, two of us booked a room here to get some sleep before our 1:30am bus which we mentioned many times, so we payed double for a private room. The reception said that one private was much hotter than the other but gave us the cooler room. The room was above the kitchen and so hot we ended up sleeping in the dorm with air condition anyway. Not only that but ONLY in the private rooms there is no wifi, but it's accessible everywhere else. When I complained to the front desk they said " well you booked the private room and we gave you the dorm no cost" as a response to lying to me to begin with. I would never recommend this to anyone, it's overpriced to begin with, and not welcoming whatsoever.
