Awesome that it is right on the beach- with a volleyball net, and slack line.
The hostel is a party hostel, so expect loud music every night of the week until late.
The food is really good.

+close to the beach. Nice pool
- Very unorganized. The mixed up our beds twice so people slept in the bed that they had told me I was going to sleep in. The other night I guy got angry cause I was sleeping in "his" bed. The didn't really care when we told them about the problem. Dirty in the toilet next to the big dorm.

I had the lobster here. I thought I'd treat myself ($15 but the most expensive thing on the menu) I was terribly disappointed with what they presented me. They were literally the smallest lobsters I've ever seen and completely illegal size to be taking (where I am from it would be a hefty fine or possible jail time) so for me it was such a shock. So the lobster tail was 1-2 bites of meat (2 inches) TINY baby lobsters that won't reproduce and ensure there are lobsters still around. To make it worse the lobster wasn't even cooked properly the tail was cooked the antennas were not and the legs were so small there was no meat in them. I brought these issues up with an employee and he admitted they were in the wrong for it being undercooked yeah like cheers mate that's nice and then went on to say that they are not farmed lobsters with no hormones added (which is bs) I think they should just take it off the menu and think more ecologically just because the locals do it doesn't mean it's right.
There is also a MASSIVE rip right out front. So beware I could see that very easily unassuming people could be taking out very quickly getting into troubleresponse / report this review -

Good vibe, good music, good food, beautiful sunset. Nice rooms and right by the beach. It's a bit far from Leòn so don't expect going out at night, but perfect if you want to chill for a few days.

Good vibes, right by the beach. There was a party which combined the Bigfoot beach hostel and the beach, lots of music, games and fun. On other days, the hostel was pretty relaxed. The food was very good and seeing as it is quite secluded from any shops/restaurants this is the only option really.The rooms were clean although being the first room by the pool, had it's downside that if you were not out the sound of people and music was quite loud, but this wasn't too much of a problem.
The staff were nice and fun. The beach was clean although could not swim because of the currents being too strong. Also on their website they advertised the room we were in as an 'all girls' room but by the second night there was also a guy sharing with us.response / report this review -

Beautiful place right on the beach. Has a pool and a lot of social activities. Good place to both party and relax. Would go back.

Great party spot, stay overnight if you are looking for some quiet time because most people will head back to town at the end of the night
