Delayed services, long waiting time and little to no radiological diagnostic equipment
It's the leading Federal Tertiary Health Institution serving Kwara, Niger, Kogi and parts of Oyo States. It's a multi-specialist teaching hospital that trains resident doctors, medical, nursing and other paramedical courses.
Specialties include Surgery, Internal medicine, Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Paediatrics. Each of these specialties have subspecialties under them.
It receives referrals from both primary and secondary care facilities as well as patient presenting on their own through the General Outpatient Department where they are initially managed. When their conditions require specialist attention, they are referred to the appropriate specialist for further evaluation and expert care.
It's located on the outskirts of Ilorin, it's a government owned teaching hospital with a state of the art facilities and experienced Doctors and Nurses. It's a good place to get care. On the second thought they go on strike at any available opportunity.
Renders fair service but about the best around here
I am impressed with the size of the structure. The quality of the doctors is also impressive. Unfortunately if this hospital were to be built by a standard construction company people will come from other countries
In any case it's better than other states.
A tertiary teaching hospital with accident and emergency care, general outpatients, surgical and medical outpatients departments as well as an Emergency Paediatrics unit
Lively place
Needs more improvement: infrastructure, expertise to mention few in order to meet the international standards
It's very big but needs more infrastructures and more personnel.
Government can do better , renovate the buildings especially the mortuary side .
I'm proud of this place
Because Is The Best Hospital In Nigeria
