Just OK for short stay. The environment is serene but the hotel and it's facilities are ageing and needs upgrade to be contemporary. For those planning an event, the spacious hall adjacent to the hotel is OK to host a medium sized wedding reception or conference.

A very friendly environment. The staff are cheerful and willing to assist you. The rooms are decent depending on the Dept of your pocket. There bathtub with hot water heater. Each room is fitted with an air conditioning system

University of Calabar Hotel, where top class hospitality Is experienced, and embedded in the wide array of comfortable accommodation and kingly relaxation it presents to all guest. Although the hotel needs some touch up maintenance; the location gives it an edge. It is 10 minute drive to Marina Resort and 30 minutes away from Cercotan Monkey Drill. University of Calabar Hotel also boasts of a conference hall equipped with Air conditioners and good stage lighting. The 500-seaters capacity hall comes with 400 seats and 90 tables in the package, and a spacious car park.
