The view of the ocean is amazing! The staff are also very courteous. Imagine, walked past the chef in the lobby and he greeted me like we were buddies. That's welcoming!
I first knew this hotel when franchised under Protea Hotels. It stands tall on the busy Awolowo road but somewhat preserved from traffic intrusion until evening rush hour. It is tastefully furnished, never a poor service day here. The lounge is very comfortable even though beside the restaurant. The food is well prepared à nd tasty. The pool area is cozy and sit out by the restaurant is beautiful - overseeing part of the marine. The view is great!
There are halls for small and large meetings and adequately catered for.
I have not visited the rooms but imagine they will be classy too.
The ambiance of the hotel is soft, warm and welcoming.
Westwood Hotel comes recommended
Nice and cozy. Serenity is guaranteed. Previously known as Protea, the hotel is just at the start of Awolowo road coming from the mainland. The hotel has all the services that you would require of a top hotel; quality room service, laundry service, restaurant, kid-friendly and so on. The restaurant has a good view of the water behind the hotel. There is a sit-out zone just by the waters with very good view. Meeting rooms available also for rent. Recommended.

Security facilities such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems are installed in strategic places within the hotel premises for safety.
Great view from most of the rooms. Ample car parking. Facilities are not so great but good enough.
I have no idea why this hotel is that expensive. Maybe it's because of the views from the rooms, or because of the location (Ikoyi). There's nothing fancy or catchy about this hotel. As far as I can tell, everything they've got to offer is basic, nothing extraordinary. Services are great though, especially the personnels. The 4 star rating is for them.
You can enjoy better quality hotels for half the rate in any other area than the island.
The place is really a nice place. I like the vintage view of the ocean from your room balcony. The environment is pleasant, I love it.
Great place with top notch facilities. Clean, cozy with polite staff. What captivated me most about this hotel is it’s beautiful waterfront view with yachts. The room rates are great with budget accommodation.
Good location. Old building, dated rooms.
If you must stay take the bigger suites as they have a better view and good size rooms.
The normal rooms are too small and mattresses not comfortable.
Take lagoon view as street view is very noisy from the street traffic.
Given it's an old building there is no soundproofing in the windows.
The courtesy of the staff is warm. The condition of the room I stayed in was cosy. The hotel ambience is welcoming.
Great hotel with a lovely water front view.
It used to carry the Protea franchise but I guess that had outlived its usefulness. As Westwood Hotel, the management have been able to keep up with the standard that had been established at the beginning. So there isn't anything to worry about.
For large scale events, parking will get tight but can still be managed.
Quite serene environment. Nice place with lovely view into the Lagos lagoon.
Very up-scale, but it us worth every penny. A place for tourists and people trying to have a good time. Single, couples, it is what you make of it but certainly not a displease.
Nice scenery greets you upon arrival. The entrance is chic and interior is superb. Very quiet with spacious car park.
it has a really cozy 'feel-at-home' lounge and a menu that offers delicious fingers foods
Never a poor service day here, it is lovely, classy, service and food are great!
Nice hotel for meetings, etc. Lovely rooms, restaurant etc. I like!
Good for meetings. Boat rides out of the city also available. They have a small place for boats at the back. Small swimming pool. :(
Nice place to relax the pool side is awesome, the lounge has a perfect water view
well located on awolowo way but still low key and it's revamped
Good location. The conference rooms are good for a 30-40 people meetings and conferences. Food is good as well.
