There is a delibrate effort to take care of the facility, and it's commendable. Staff need to be trained on how to render excellent service beginning with communicating effectively and presentation in terms of dressing. The kitchen enjoys cooking with abundance of salt even after specific instructions. Environment is Serene and proximity to the airport is a plus.

I liked the room I stayed in (2014). The room was tastefully furnished and the meal I had was delicious. I definitely recommend it. I just hope their quality hasn't dropped through the passage of time.

UPDATE: I just spent a weekend in this hotel (2018) and their quality is even better than before. Rooms are clean and tastefully furnished and their food is delicious!!

Nicely set up hotel..
Downside of this hotel is that not much proactive maintenance steps were taken over the years.
Amenities showing effect of age and therefore unattractive.

This is a two star hotel but in Benin city it may be classified as three star.. Internet is crappy, service leaves a lot to be desired and the place is in need of a renovation. The towels are worn and the bedsheet were probably white at some point in time. The best thing about this place is the pool which is still nice and clean and the pool area is a nice placd to grab a drink in the evening and hang out. The food menu is limited but it actually taste nice

Rooms smell damp and have mildew on the walls. Needs renovation. Hotel needs some renovation works. Great exterior though and a nice hangout at the bar.

Went there for a 60min outdoor business lunch. Beautiful patio by the pool side and the mashed potatoes with mushrooms tastes great.

I have only been to the bar section. It used to be my favorite place to chill at. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the place was quite modern. Several service mishaps, and a bunch of new staff has made it not so hot for me anymore. But still it's not a bad place to relax at.
