Quiet and safe enviroment. You can't come in here uninvited, except you live, work or school here. The officials here are highly trained and well disciplined. The environment is neat and calm.

Along Port Harcourt - Aba Express Way, its airbase was used as the former Port Harcourt Airport before it was moved to its present location. It also has a Public Secondary School operated and managed by the Nigerian Airforce.

Used by the Nigerian Air Force.

Private Jets also use the landing strip here.

Helicopters 🚁 fly here like flies usually used by oil companies.

Commercial flights from Lagos also land here while those from Abuja, Kano, etc land at Omagwa.

Overall, from all my movements round the country, I see this to be the busiest Air Force base in the country doing well over 50 helicopter 🚁 landings daily.
