Tedder hall is one of the most prestigious and respected halls of residence in University of Ibadan. The great hall of fame was commissioned on the 17th of November, 1952, and named after Rt. Hon. Lord Tedder, Marshal of the Royal Force and Chancellor, University of Cambridge.
The hall is strategically located and designed to meet up with international standards. It is located within the circle beginning from the back of Trenchard hall, opposite Students Union Building main entrance, faculty of arts, the University Central Mosque and Chapel ground. This is why the hall is the most visited hall of residence in UI.

Tedder Hall is an undergraduate student residency hall in ui. It Is far from exquisite but is manageable for Student. Since it is Within one of the busiest portions of the campus power supply is OK but is hardly ever available for more than 18hours a day. Water is constant as longs as there is power, a room supports a Max of three people. By my standards the room shouldn't be for more than 2 people but it is what it is. The hall has an fairly decent cafeteria it also has a restaurant but this restaurant is not entirely qualified to be restaurant. The Hall is very easy to locate from the gate. The cafeteria food is okay and it's the most visited the entire campus.
