A decent enough hotel. There's nothing out of the ordinary here but you will get a decent night's sleep on a clean bed in a clean environment. The options for breakfast aren't that great. It's similar to what you might find in a really good budget hotel in the UK.

Not a very big hotel but comfortable and serene. Reminds me of cottage hotels in South Africa. Friendly staff, from the security to the cleanerseveryone literally had a smile. Rooms were also clean and comfortable

Step into the lobby and your eyes will continue to widen, as you marvel at the newly refurbished colorful and evocative reception area, modern bar and the restaurant with cool grey ultra-modern furniture. It sure makes an immediate impression. What use to be Protea Hotel has been transformed into a space that is hardly recognizable. The rooms, swimming pool bar and the gym have also been revamped tastefully to give customers a fresh and enjoyable hotel experience in the heart of the city.
Highly recommended!!!!

Going by the Protea Brand, I think it's just there. Location also doesn't do it justice (my opinion). Cool ambience though. Courteous staff.

It's an on going experience, because am still in the hotel and will be leaving on the 7th of March, until then, I can't give any impressions. However, it's clean and its staff respectful. As for now, the breakfast and cuisine are excellent .

Pros; Good customer service. The food is great. Staff is friendly

Cons: Limited parking space. Laundry service is poor. Shower sometimes takes forever to dispense hot water

The hotel is a wonderful place to be, nice reception and nice structure. You can also relax and enjoy yourself with the swimming pool available.

Great cosy place. Standards have been maintained over the years. Service is good, pricing reasonable and rooms are nice. Great and helpful staff! At breakfast ask for Suleiman. He just sorts you out. I have stayed here on and off for years.

As a well seasoned traveler I can safely say that it is truly a lovely Hotel in keeping with any of the Bon or international Marriott Hotel group. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lagos. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms and facilities, fast wifi, well equipped and spotless gym, two private and sparkling pools so you're always guaranteed to be swimming in sunshine and an uninterrupted power supply so it is always cool. Management treats their employees with dignity, which is reflected in their decorum and provides for a wonderful contingent of friendly, efficient and well spoken staff.
And their food is fresh and delicious! Even for vegans.
Well located for convenient access to most areas.

Thank you one and all for providing a comfortable and professional environment where I can conduct business and a home away from home during my extensive stay.

My stay at the hotel was good. The hotel's environment was cool and clean. There was constant water and power supply. The hotel staff were helpful and kind. The room service was swift to response. I enjoyed the services rendered at the hotel.

Excellent customer service. Comfortable beds, clean spacious rooms, fantastic gym. But not friendly to the disabled (no elevators) and there's limited choice of food
