You get flights at this airport going to International and Domestic Destinations. The runaways of the airport are also good providing a swift landing for airplanes. The toilets here are good and well taken care of as well and you can find standby cleaners readily available making it clean at all times.
The security here as well is well grounded. Everywhere is tight and properly secured. The entrance to the airport is also wheel chair accessible making it easily accessible for the physically challenged ones.
If you are landing and making an exit out of this airport, you can find standby cab operators offering transportation to various parts of Abuja at a standard amount which is the basic they charge here at the airport. Nnamdi Azikwe International airport's infrastucture and other facilities have improved. Security checks are much better. Flight delays drastically minimised or almost zero. I give good commendation to the authorities concerned for ensuring this. From the look of things the improvement efforts have not stopped.

This is a large international airport and its currently undergoing some renovations and good expansion work. It has just one runway, large parking spaces but does not have any eateries for non flying passengers. It has good lounges for waiting passengers, lots of taxies, three terminals and improved passenger conditions alongside a lift.

This is the second most busiest airport in Nigeria. You can link anywhere in the world domestic and international. The runways are good. But the terminal building need upgrade no air conditioner in the departure hall the rest room is not enough and the staff are always waiting for PR from the passengers.

Local and international flights jet through here the nations capital. Just an average airport with average facilities. Undergoing a makeover. Hopefully on completion it will be easier for passengers using this airport.

The domestic airport is pretty plain. It's efficient but nothing else. One or two shops and an open lounge with armchairs that you pay for at 3000 Nairas ($8.50). Parking for collection is way out so good to know if you have someone picking you up as they can't get any closer.

Compared to other Nigerian airports it is spacious and has ample sitting for passengers. Security is tight. Lots of taxis available. Be careful when parking at the car park, the security authorities are notorious for towing vehicles and giving fines for whatever they interpret as bad parking.

Hardly an exciting airport, but reasonably fast. Delays common going through immigration on arrival, but departure normally ok. Don't expect good shopping. If you have time left, go to the "restaurant" at the top floor. I've never seen any food there, but you can have a calm pre-flight beer.

The landing and takeoff on the airfield was smooth unlike some other airports in Nigeria. It has a good view of Abuja landscapes during takeoff and landing. It's said to be one of the best airport terminals in the country.

The runway has been renovated and was reopened by the Minister of Aviation on the 18th of April 2017 and was launched by Ethiopian Airline. The clearance is very fast. Taxis carry passengers at no lesser than N5,000 naira to even the nearest location.

The airport's runway was recently renovated. The airport is far from the town. The taxi drivers here are very greedy. Their bills are outrageous.

I love this airport. Much better one than the Lagos airport, fast security/ immigration check, efficiency and normal conditions. Of course, it needs uplifting and upgrade, more and better services, but overall the best airport in NG. Such a pity Government is allowing its closure for undefined time.
