This airport facility is good and quite large enough to accommodate the high number of people coming in and out of the country, locally and internationally. Nevertheless the concierge here needs to be beefed up and properly trained; because my first experience here was not so nice as i had to go round trying to figure out my way around.
There were no more hassles in getting my luggage. The signs were well placed. The airport taxi were readily available. The airport staff, starting from d security to d custom guys were friendly and helpful. A lot construction works are still ongoing.
I visited this airport location as a result of a work project assignment. My landing and departure at this airport was uneventful to say the least. The airlines were just starting service to the airport again after a long time of not servicing the airport. At the time, I noted that the personnel watching the aircraft were doing a good job of making sure that the aircraft was ready for departure. The airport was suitable for both international and domestic departures. There were a number of American style facilities to eat food for the kids of course. The restrooms were okay. The airport was a bit crowded at the time of my departure and landing. The personnel were great processing my tickets and luggage.
Abuja airport is undergoing infrastructural upgrade at the moment. Play for several delays at toll plaza, pick up and drop off ram, entry tunnel, boarding pass, baggage scanning and verification, at check in, and invariable boarding.
Facility is rather small for the daily crowd this airport services for both local and international flight.
Restrooms are pretty clean and constantly tidied.
Flight announcement often inaudible but i guess it's the industry lingo
You get flights at this airport going to International and Domestic Destinations. The runaways of the airport are also good providing a swift landing for airplanes. The toilets here are good and well taken care of as well and you can find standby cleaners readily available making it clean at all times.
The security here as well is well grounded. Everywhere is tight and properly secured. The entrance to the airport is also wheel chair accessible making it easily accessible for the physically challenged ones.
If you are landing and making an exit out of this airport, you can find standby cab operators offering transportation to various parts of Abuja at a standard amount which is the basic they charge here at the airport. Please as a cause of concern use cab operators that are parked and registered at the airport taxi car park
Nice airport, not so large but convenient. Wheelchair assessible, toilet facilities are decent. Very short time between check in and security. Waiting area a bit small but not crowded. Only 1 food shop available so not really last minute shopper friendly. There is a VIP lounge. Boarding gates all nearby.
The Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport is a progressively developing airport. With recent renovations and constructions, the airport will in no doubt become one Africa's best airports with multiple terminals.
The airport however, currently has a very small sitting area for nonflying commuters, no restaurants, good/multiple public parking space, good restrooms, three terminals and lots of expensive taxis.
Air service adequate.
Growing in customer service delivery but needs lots of improvement in infrastructure development
New facilities installed with tight security check. Good one!!!
Very good airport
Arrival and departure terminals for both local and international flights.
Recently renovated but the most obvious feature is the lift which has been installed.
Looking better, smoother run way. I'm loving the new look.
Great place At least it was a pleasure to be here..
Much better than MM and MM2 but a lot still has to be done. Flights may be delayed with any announcement made to notify passengers.
Departure Lounge need better air-conditioning, meal and shop items are overpriced.
But in all a generally okay environment
