Molete market is at the heart of molete itself, and is one of the very best market at Ibadan. Is a largely food stuff, and domestic use appliances.

It's the ancient striking military location during the war between ibadan and the ijebu people. It was one of the warriors that hid on the tree which is now the centre of the round about that serve as watchtower for the rest warriors to inform them what's happening from the right, left and front. By saying "Mo le te n te te sibi yi o" meaning I am here hiding on the tree.
