It's in a serene environment of Bodija. The hotel rooms need serious upgrade in terms of bathroom and reading table area to improve the hygiene. The food is nice.

I'd say that the Davies Hotel has been upgraded since when I used to know it in early 2000. It has an arty reception area with sculptures and photographs. There's also a lounge bar for drinks, bites and hangouts.

Quite serene and neat.The hotel and its annex spans a river which makes the location cool and inviting.A good evening here is complete with chilled wine and "asun".
The garden is small but very safe and quite ideal for the matured fun seeker.The rooms are spacious and neat
The walls are lined with historic photographs.By simply walking down the hallway,you get a chronological display of Nigerian history on the walls.
The staff are quite friendly and the hotel truly matches grandeur with pocket friendliness.
Good lodging for those who love quiteness and taste.

Absolutely perfect for a deserved getaway.
The environment was beautiful, a two storey hotel in the heart of bodija.
The services rendered were exceptional starting from the receptionist all the way up.
Hotel rooms were neat and yeah before I forget the food was very sweet..(JOLLOF)
The Open bar was splendid and ASAKE Annex was a splendour..

Very courteous staff
Good briefing by receptionist before I was shown to my room
All hours restaurant
There is an open air bar inside the hotel, not too noisy and you can have a conversation there without shouting
Rooms are neat and have hot water, fridge and AC
Book ahead if going during the weekend as they tend to be fully booked then

very good hotel, clean and ample rooms, comfy beds. slight problem of water pressure in shower (easily solved if you run it on "cold" setting, which is actually pleasant room temp). hotel has its own restaurant which serves great food. free wi-fi, enough signal to process emails

It must have been a nice hotel in 80s but is run down. Still it is not bad for the country standards.
Have electricity for the night, kitchen, security and loundry service.
