Great views. Ocean breeze. Good scene for photos but Cinema is dead
There's a cinema, shops to get gift items, nice water front and a bar, very cool place and you can also go on boat rides. Very cool place indeed
If you want movies, fresh air and some decent family/friends hang out time, you are in the right time. Just bring your own chairs and tables.
The boat rides are cool. Plus you could take a ride to Tinapa and back.
I just feel it could be better because it use to be better.
Again another nice concept from the days of governor Donald Duke and commissioner Larry Esin. Just by the popular River Cross, from which the state derives it's name. Family and vacation or fun outing destination. I will definitely recommend this to everyone visiting Calabar. The mini amphitheater is an experience worth having rather than being told. I will not discourage with the cost details. Of course you should have come prepared to spend.
Poor maintenance!! It's a beautiful place but the maintenance is very poor! The water body around it is even worse! The Cinema has closed down. The only thing that works well is the Slave Museum. The Museum is very nice. The people that work there too know exactly what they are doing.
I used to travel through this place by boat or by ship as a child. BUT now this place has been turned to one beautiful resort, wow! This place is so beautiful you’ll not want to go home. The crew working here are well groomed to make your visit a memorable one. Great scenery, cool breeze, lovely ocean view!!
I went on a boat cruise, had tropical food and drinks at the waterside and then headed to the cinema for a movie. I plan on visiting the slavery museum next time. I had a lot of fun
