The reception is good, the staff are nice and courteous. The hotel is clean and the location is super. The food is a yes too.
Ok. I stayed in room 307, but you may wish to check these in your room. The window unit AC is too noisy. I had to put it off to sleep. The mattress in the bed has spring inside and it was not too comfy for me. The clarity of the TV channels may not be assured at all times.
In all, I will recommend the hotel for any visitor to Sokoto as i went round before settling for Grand Ibro.response / report this review -

It's okay. One of the best places in Sokoto. Do not come here expecting Lagos standard though. They get the basics right. Also, note that you can always get a discount off the standard rates on at the reception if you ask.

The food is very very bad. Can you believe they sell food without soup and you have to buy the soup differently without explanation. How inhuman? What if someone didn't have enough money.
