It used to be the best airline in Nigeria but late last year things started dwindling for them starting from delayed flights to cancelled flights for days and finally a total grounding of activities. Things are shaping up right now for them

Personally, I love arik but they have some setbacks. was traveling to Lagos from Accra and they rescheduled my flight about 4 times, Was originally scheduled to leave at 8:30am, got a message on my way to the airport stating it has been rescheduled to 12:00pm. Like that wasn't bad enough, they rescheduled it again, twice!. Finally left Accra around 11:30pm getting to Lagos around 1am.

Arik airline is indeed the worst in the industry. The poorest of customer's service. They always don't have enough fuel on their planes. So whenever they are loading up passengers they always turned off the air conditioning system. Anyone who is embarking on an important trip should not consider Arik as an option at all. If your flight is cancelled for any reason, you don't get any notification plus you are not rescheduled for another flight. Worst of it, you can remain at the airport for 3 days without they coming up with a solution for you. Funny enough, they still have not refunded back my money for cancellation of my trip. They keep telling me to wait and it's almost a year now.
