This is an exceptional place. If you want peace for the sole there is nothing better you can experience. The sanctuary is out of this world and the owners are really making a contribution to wildlife protection in Namibia and Southern Africa in general. It was really a privilege to stay over in a luxury villa. The same place where Angelina Jolie stayed some time ago. The owners need to be commented for their contribution to the protection of wildlife in Namibia

Fantastic place to stay and see wildlife. Comfy but rustic villas spread across the sanctuary. Wonderful staff with a lot of great activities.

Cool place with very good apartment and very good restaurant. The only caveat is that the lodge is very isolated and there is no phone on the lodge so there is no way to communicate with the reception. Also the service is not that efficient and fast. Overall was a good place to stay

I have long had a fascination with wildlife and admired the work done by Marlice van Vuuren and her husband at the N/a’an ku sê Foundation in Windhoek, Namibia, especially in the area of cheetah conservation. Marlice hand-raised an orphan cheetah as part of her conservation efforts and enjoys educating visitors by providing the opportunity to walk with her and her cheetah. At the end of a sunset walk, they were interacting at the top of a small rise. I took several photos of the two, hoping to catch just the right positioning of both heads so as to adequately capture the profound level of trust each had for the other.

Our first stay on a two-week, self-driving tour around Namibia. We weren't too sure how good the activities would be, but needed something fairly close to Windhoek airport. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was great - probably the best dinners we had on our trip. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable.

Most importantly, the activities were fantastic: we did the Cheetah Experience, Carnivore Feeding and "Behind the Scenes" tour. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, and while most of the animals were being rehabilitated it felt like we were seeing animals in their natural and wild environment.

Me and my wife had been delightful for your Lodge. The hospitality of your team, the love you demonstrate for your animals, the project with the San Bushman, it was 3 full of joy days we had. Above our expectations, it will be a plesure to recommend this place and also to came back. 5*.

Great place to be and great experience with the baboons. The only thing that i dont like are leopards are fat they are not worth it to visit.

The work they are doing here for conservation of the big cats is outstanding. The chalets are very close to the main building which is pretty loud throughout the day but that calms down at night. The rooms are incredibly funky in terms of style if you like that sort of thing. The setting is great, especially with all of the baboons and resident warthogs. We did the cheetah walk which was a really cool experience but the group that we were with (bused in from another lodge) were completely obnoxious and sort of ruined it for us. Not the lodges fault at all but it would have been nice if the handler forced them to obey a few of the rules around the cats a little more.

The restaurant is what blew us away. We expected completely standard food. This was our last night on a 16 night African vacation which had us staying in rooms that were more than double the cost of this lodge. However, this was the best meal we had on the entire trip! From the appetizer to the dessert it was exceptional! We couldn't believe it and made sure the cook knew right away.

I wish I could give it 10 stars! My regret is not staying longer. One night is too short. An amazing place doing incredible work. The food was exceptional and they accommodated all our dietary preferences.

Most beautiful scenery, staff are very friendly and helpful couldn't ask for a better place to stay.The highlight off our feeding trip out with Civen was amazing , and been so close to lions to hear him roaring was fabulous.Presentation off their food was outstanding .Highly recommendable.
