  Very different than other national parks such as etosha. Smaller, yet offers more adventure. be aware of the elephants!

  We saw only eagle's, zebras, impalas, warthogs, heartbeests, gazelles, a lot of different birds. The landscape is beautiful but didn't see any lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs, If you go, expect to see few animals and a beautiful landscape. The signs of the park are few and it's difficult to know where you are.

  It's fairly small and the was almost no game or birds to be seen (during winter - dry season). The park office is off the road at the most Northerly end, on the river side, where you can get a permit and a map. Some sections, particularly the larger side are very sandy so you will need a 4x4 with your tyres deflated.
