Convenient setting with a pool and nice restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was included and was delicious.

Rooms are spacious with internet and basic satellite tv offered. TV in room 5 was not working properly and missing a remote, but cannot fault anything else.

    Will be back

Great modern accomodation. Rooms are very neat but the bathroom and sleep area is open plan. The pool area is great and so is the animal farm so the kids were entertained. The hot breakfast was great but the other cold options weren't.

NEVER EVER AGAIN. The most stingiest Management approach ever. We are chilling by the poolside, having lots of fun. Our group was approved by a big headed dude telling us to leave within 5 minutes. He thought we came from the "lokasie/location". Even commenting if all 10 of us were booked in one room. Imagine 10 people in 1 room. While we were all booked guest separately. It seems we were judged because our group didn't brought along our cooperate banners like our friends that were also having fun opposite us. What a shame, if you wanna break away from cooperate fever do not visit Maritz lodge without your cooperate banners. You'll be told yo leave within 5 minutes.

Never again. I camp in the really nice camp site. The laundry is on one side of camp and the workshop is next to the last two camp spots. The staff spend their day shouting conversations at each other from one end to the other. They walk between the campers and shout to each other. All day. The workers push wheel barrows and cement mixers past your tent on the gravel and make a hell of a racket. The noice starts when they get to work at 7 until they go home at five. The campers toilets are also the staff toilets. The table and chairs under the lapa is used by the staff whenever the bosses are not around and during their tea/lunch breaks. Noisy and no privacy. Pity really as the setting is so beautiful. I have camped there six times in the past and it has always been bad. Problem is there isn't anywhere else. It is also rediculously expensive. At N $230 for one person. Really!

    It's good but..
I was glad to find a lodge with day round security, safe parking and a place to eat (Wimpy) nearby. However the room I stayed at needed a little upkeep.

The service is really good. Everyone is helpful with nice. So is the filling breakfast.

All in all not a bad experience.
